Prestigious award recognizes the top 50 professionals worldwide

The LSU College of Human Sciences & Education announces John Nauright, PhD, as director of the LSU School of Kinesiology and will also serve as the Karen Wax Schmitt and Family Endowed Professor. Nauright will assume his role on June 1.

LSU is proud of its world-class faculty, and we are pleased to announce the College of Human Sciences & Education's faculty honored as this year's recipients of university-wide distinguished faculty awards. Congratulations.

The LSU College of Human Sciences & Education named Lacy Dicharry as director of the Leadership Development Institute (LDI), effective April 22.

Our celebration will feature remarks from the Payne Family, LSU President William F. Tate IV and Dean Roland Mitchell, refreshments, a short video presentation and commissioned portrait unveiling, a panel discussion about the future of education in Louisiana, and exciting things LSU is doing to elevate the teaching profession.

The LSU School of Kinesiology is "geauxing the distance" to pursue LSU's Scholarship First Agenda and ensure the outstanding success of its students, faculty, and staff members.
